It Was Nice

The show was overall good, not great. Great light show, good sound, good performance. I didn't enjoy the song selections. They played a handful of unfamiliar new songs. Instead of adding new ones, they replaced more familiar songs. They didn't perform any songs from their second album, which includes some personal favorites of mine. The long solos, including a pretty lengthy drum solo and a guitar solo that overshadowed Freebird, were excessive and detracted from the show. It felt like more of a jam session, which was not what I paid to see. I felt disconnected, as if I was watching an unfamiliar band. A nearly two-hour show with only about 14 songs was disappointing.
